Other Hints for Keyword Searching
- Truncation must be specified in a keyword search. Use a question mark (?)
for truncation.
- Omit accent marks and all other punctuation (except the truncation
indicator if needed).
- A keyword search does not search full-text. A keyword search searches the
fields of bibliographic records stored in a database. These fields may
include:
- title
- author
- subject
- notes (publication, distribution, series, edition, abstract,
etc.)
- If your search retrieves a broad set of results, try adding another term
in your search.
